A New Look for the Site

What's going on here? This isn't the site I remember!

True enough. The deal is that the software that runs the site was getting a bit dated and needed a major version upgrade. It was actually easier to start with a fresh look than to bring the previous site theme up to date. Also, the newer theme offers some nice additional features. So that's what we did.
